Operation Cy-Hunt
The Kerala police started a major mission against Cybercrime
named “ Operation Cy-Hunt”. Following the remarkable success of the initial
phase that led to the arrest of hundreds of individuals involved in major
online scams, cyber police stations across the State are set to continue their
investigation under ‘Operation Cy-Hunt’—the State-wide crackdown on cyber fraud
networks. The huge increase in cyber fraud and mule accounts has affected the
state's economic system and security. For this reason, the Kerala Police have
begun arresting mule money scammers in the state.
